At Colegio Cuernavaca, we have been fostering logical-mathematical thinking and scientific research for the benefit of society for 40 years. Thanks to our science program that spans from 1st grade to 3rd secondary, students LIVE science. We develop projects in various areas, from humanities and social sciences to agricultural, environmental, and technological fields.
During the current school year, over 100 scientific projects were focused on solving local and community problems. Throughout the 8 months of the scientific method stages, collaborative work and experimentation were promoted, allowing students to "immerse themselves in the world of science."
Our annual Science Fair serves as a platform to disseminate and evaluate results with the help of experts from various knowledge areas, from different research centers such as INSP, UNAM Biotechnology and Physics, and UAEM Biological Sciences, as well as civil associations like Okapia. The most innovative projects in the 12 to 16-year-old category were awarded, and 10 secondary school teams advanced to the state competition of Expociencias Morelos 2024. To our great satisfaction, FIVE teams obtained accreditations for the national event of Expociencias Tabasco 2024, representing the state of Morelos next December 2024. Good luck to all.
